Dr. Scott Green is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He has been in practice since 1980 and has been in Northeastern Connecticut affiliated with Day Kimball Hospital since 1992. He is a past chairman of the Department of Surgery at Day Kimball Hospital and has been a member or numerous committees over the years.

He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester, with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery in 1975 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Orthopedic training was completed at the Cherry Hill Medical Center in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Dr. Green became board certified by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 1991 and is active in national and local organizations. Dr. Green performs a broad spectrum of orthopedic procedures which include: arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, total joint replacements, sports injuries, carpal tunnel and other hand procedures, and trauma care. When not working Dr. Green enjoys sailing, golf, tennis and spending time with his family.
